2. Account & Login
How do I reset my password?
If you signed up with an email and password, you can reset it by tapping "Forgot Password?" on the login screen. If you signed in using Google or Apple, you will need to manage your password directly through those respective services.
How do I delete my account?
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the Rivalio app. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
Why did I not receive my verification email?
Please check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not received it after 15 minutes, you can request a new verification link from the login screen or contact support.
3. Predictions & Scoring
When do predictions lock?
All match predictions lock exactly at the scheduled kickoff time. Once a match has started, you can no longer submit or edit your prediction for that specific game.
How are points calculated?
Points are awarded based on the accuracy of your prediction compared to the final match result. You earn points for correctly predicting the exact scoreline, and partial points for correctly predicting the match outcome (Home Win, Draw, or Away Win) even if the exact score is wrong. Check the "Rules" tab in the app for a detailed breakdown of the point system.
When are leaderboards updated?
Match results are synced continuously. Leaderboards and user points are typically updated within 15 to 30 minutes after a match concludes.
4. Private Leagues
How do I invite friends to my private league?
Go to your Private League dashboard, tap the "Invite" or "Share" button, and send the unique league code or invitation link to your friends. They can enter this code in the "Join League" section of the app.
Can I be in multiple private leagues?
Yes! You can create or join as many private leagues as you want to compete against different groups of friends, family, or coworkers.
5. Technical Issues
The app is crashing or freezing
Ensure you are running the latest version of Rivalio from the App Store or Google Play Store. If the issue persists, try logging out and logging back in, or reinstalling the app. If you still experience crashes, please email support with your device model and OS version.
Notifications are not working
Check your device's native settings to ensure Rivalio has permission to send push notifications. You can also manage your specific notification preferences (match reminders, result updates) inside the app's Settings menu.
