1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rivalio mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using Rivalio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. About Rivalio

Rivalio is a football prediction and social competition platform. Users may predict match scores, earn points under published scoring rules, participate in leaderboards, and create or join private leagues.

Rivalio is not a betting or gambling service. The service does not accept wagers, provide cash betting, or promise financial returns based on match outcomes.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the service in your country and meet any minimum age required by applicable law. If you use Rivalio on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Accounts and authentication

You may use Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, anonymous access, or other supported methods. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account, keeping your device secure, and providing accurate information. You must not share, sell, transfer, or misuse an account. We may require verification or restrict access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity.

5. Predictions, deadlines, and scoring

Predictions must be submitted before the applicable deadline shown in the app. Network delays, device clock differences, scheduled maintenance, match changes, and provider updates may affect availability. A prediction is accepted only after it has been successfully recorded by our backend.

Scoring rules, tie-breakers, eligible matches, corrections, and competition periods may be displayed in the app. We may correct points or rankings when fixture data, match status, or calculations are inaccurate. Official match data can be delayed, corrected, postponed, abandoned, or otherwise changed by leagues and data providers.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Rivalio to break the law; harass or impersonate others; manipulate rankings; create fraudulent accounts; automate abusive traffic; scrape or reverse engineer protected parts of the service; bypass security, rate limits, or access controls; upload malicious code; interfere with other users; exploit errors; or use the service for unauthorized commercial activity.

7. User content and league information

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile information or future community content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Rivalio. You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights.

Display names, points, ranks, predictions after relevant matches, and league membership may be visible to other users according to the app’s features and privacy settings.

8. Third-party services and data

Rivalio depends on third-party platforms and services, including Apple, Google, Firebase, Expo, email providers, advertising providers, and football-data providers. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply to your use of their services. Match schedules and results are provided for informational and entertainment purposes and may contain delays or errors.

Team names, league names, badges, and other sports-related rights belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, Rivalio is not affiliated with or endorsed by any football federation, league, club, player, broadcaster, Apple, or Google.

9. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, competitions, integrations, or the service itself. We may perform maintenance or impose reasonable usage limits. We do not guarantee that every competition, fixture, feature, or notification will always be available.

10. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Rivalio at any time and may request account deletion through the app or support channel. We may suspend or terminate access when you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, abuse the service, or when required to protect users and systems. Certain records may be retained where legally required or reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivalio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, specific rankings, notification delivery, or that predictions will be saved when connectivity fails. Predictions and statistics are for entertainment and informational purposes and are not professional, financial, or betting advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rivalio and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, access, rankings, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, law, or business practices. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
